For the month of February the colors for the challenge are black, white, red and gold. Being the month of Valentine's Day I immediately thought of Hearts and I wanted to do something completely different. I thought I would make a heart shaped card. After making the base, I thought of a gold locket that I received one Valentine's Day from a special person. So I began to think how could I make this card to resemble a locket. First thing -gold foil cardstock and it had to be embossed to give the impression of engraving. Second the cardstock needed to be antiqued. Then it was time to embellish the card .
It doesn't look exactly like the locket that I got that one Valentine's Day, but then neither does the special person in my life today!
